Meet Richard

Richard M. Campo, Esq.

“During life’s most trying times, this firm is here to help.”

This has been Richard’s mantra since setting up the firm. His idea was to create a different type of firm. One that performs at a high level like other firms, but also solves client problems in a more compassionate manner. The practice of law can be cold at times and attorneys can be jaded by the system. No better example is in the firm’s estate administration practice. The death of a loved one creates tremendous upheaval. Having a compassionate ally on your side at such a crucial time can make all the difference.

Richard is an accomplished lawyer with lots of experience in all of the practice areas in which the firm operates, including Trusts & Estates, Corporate and Real Estate. He pays attention to detail, is tenacious, returns phone calls and e-mails and is always ready to put in the effort to solve your legal problems. He is motivated to help as many people as possible.

Richard is admitted to practice law in New York and Connecticut as well as the E.D.N.Y. and S.D.N.Y. He received his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, where he was a member of the Hofstra Law Review. In addition, he has Wall Street experience having been a former associate at Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy LLP, and Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft LLP, and the investment bank, J.P. Morgan. Richard also has experience in the financial industry as a financial advisor. He holds Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 securities registrations. Financial experience can be invaluable when it comes to estate administration and estate planning.

When not working you can find Richard cycling, playing tennis, cooking and hiking.  Richard has also logged over 100 hours volunteering at NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan.
